The origin:
Współpracownia (Collaboratory) as an “innovation hub” was established back in the fall of 2013 in cooperation with the Bialystok Science and Technology Park. Initially, the founding team focused on building a community around the coworking center and the unplanned, and positively surprising, connections (serendipity) that followed, thanks to bringing together freelancers from the creative and digital industries.
Then, after the BPN-T partnership ended in 2014, Współpracownia evolved into a business environment institution, helping with the processes of operating limited liability companies. – their registration, management, digital workflow and accounting.
The next step was to focus on assisting clients in Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A): identification and selection of companies for acquisition or potential investors, financial analysis of companies, due diligence, building structures for future transactions, assistance with negotiations and future re-organization of the business, or coordinating the work of other advisors (lawyers, auditors, etc.).
We work not only with startups, but also with mature businesses that need to transform themselves, whether due to the challenges imposed by the digital economy, generational change, or the growth and internationalization of business.
The Invest-in-Białystok project:
In 2020, Współpracownia established the independent Bialystok Metropolitan Development Agency (Agencja Rozwoju Metropolii Białostockiej), whose goal is to create a friendly ecosystem for new investments in the Bialystok agglomeration. To this end, we have launched a project called Invest-in-Bialystok aimed at external investors planning to expand the scale of their operations to the Podlasie capital and its immediate vicinity.
In this project we focus, among other things, on the preparation of office space in our locations (design, consulting, execution and ongoing maintenance), searching for new locations and business partnerships for the client’s needs, preparing investment areas and conducting investments in halls and warehouses. We guide and introduce the client to the world of local business, being the first contact and guide.
